At 20 minutes its just a game. At 60 minutes its a way of life. I think someone has the right to flame you in game for something that if you did it in real life they would have the right to yell at you. How many time in real life have you had someone waste just a few minutes of your life over something that had no monetary damages attached to it? You got mad and flamed. What would have happen if they said "oh you mad, bro?" You would have knocked them the !@#$ out!

I respect some levels of flaming. Its how you know you are alive. If you don't want to GET flamed, perhaps you should GET gud.

Nut up, chump. They are just words on a screen.

No, it's still just a game. I put more time into Skyrim than I do League, and even that is still just a game.

If someone acts like that to me I'll just walk away. They are simply not worth my time. No need to be violent, just let them live in their pathetic little world. Doesn't matter if it's in a game or in reality. I'll fulfill my requirement of playing the game and then leave and move on.

Flaming is not a requirement in any part of life, particularly not in what is supposed to be a friendly game. It's no different than having a temper tantrum, and that does not deserve any amount of respect.

Nope. Consider that you are the time waster. Something stops being friendly when they stop being friendly. It might not be any different than a temper tantrum. I didn't even say you had to respect it.

When they stop being friendly you stop playing. You don't insult them or act aggressive, you simply stop playing. When playing League you have an obligation to finish the game, but once that is done you just don't play with that person again.

You are right in saying I don't have to respect it, but that doesn't change the fact that you give some amount of respect to people who should know better than to have a temper tantrum.

So I should have my time wasted hold in my disdain. you should never hold your internet anger in unless you think you are being trolled. I can see from this pussy internet generation that can't take words on a screen, that flaming is a form of behavior modification. Some people are affected by flaming. If it got no response I wouldn't do it. I never curse or use slurs but I will tell you how bad you are and that your play style is tantamount to trolling. EXAMPLE:

"the worst you thing you could be doing right now is TRYING. Cause if you really are trying you are falling hella short! I would tell you to uninstall but I see you aren't good with computers. I don't even know how you installed the game in the first place."

"You said it was your first time with X champ. You didn't say it was your first time playing."

"I see why you wanted me to ban Crank. You are too lazy to orb walk or dodge."

"looks like it's TV time. Let me know when it's over."

Respect is earned. It can be given and lost quite easily. I flame deliberate stupidity that waste my time. 1 v 4 dives and the like. There is no need to respect those that don't respect you.
