Rerolling champion shards with 100% champions owned.

I've actually asked for this before, but I feel it is good to toss out to the community again.

I understand that it is actually to my benefit to have 3 champion shards available in my loot inventory for when the next champion is released. I then get to reroll them to automatically unlock the new champion. That is truly fantastic and I am certainly not about to complain about this one bit.

However, champions don't come out often enough for me to use 3 champion shards without gaining at least 3 more.

I have tested to see what would happen if I rerolled 3 champion shards at this point. It gave me a permanent champion "shard?", .. which was pretty useless because I still already had that champion. All I could do with it was disenchant it into champion essence, .. which can only be used to turn champion shards into permanent champions... but I have all of the champions. ... You see the problem?

Personally, I would much rather be able to reroll 3 champion shards to unlock a random skin shard.

I want to be clear, I'm asking for a skin SHARD, not even a full skin. Skin shards themselves are arguably less valuable than champion shards, so rolling 3 of them to get a skin shard instead of a permanent champion, or a permanent skin should be more than fair.
