I'm creating a League of Legends RPG. I want your ideas!
What would you like to do in a LoL RPG? What should I include? Do you think it would be more fun to play as a specific champion, or as a random denzin of Runeterra?

Just have the champions be main characters in the story line. (And on a side note this post could have gone into Memes & Games)

I have thought about this a little, but not an RPG. An First Person Shooter on the other hand where you play as Lucian would be awesome. You fight your way through the Shadow Isle to find and kill Thresh, fighting your way through other Shadow Isles characters like Mord, Hec and Karthus.
Depends on the scope of your project. If you're going to keep it simple, I'd say random denizen/soldier might work. You could also just pick one or a few champions, but you'd have to choose carefully, because a lot of fans might feel alienated by your choices. You could also just use every champion, but that would require extensive storylines for each based on their motives, their nations, etc.
Just some stuff to think about.
I think it'd be better if the protagonist was a random citizen, and the ultimate goal was to get into the fields of justice
what about the copyrights?
Are you talking about a cRPG or tabletop?
What are you planning to base it on, stylistically speaking?
Preferably one where you personally aren't a champion, but you visit areas of conflict that have league champions. For example, going to Shurima and meeting or fighting Shurima champions to settle a dispute or dispel some sort of curse.
perhaps use the old lore of summoners to have team battles against other summoners, somehow unlocking and powering up more champions as you progress. I'm thinking like Dragon Warrior Monsters or Final Fantasy over something like Pokemon. Maybe base getting them off of price or difficulty, so you might start with Garen, Annie, Tristana, but farther in you unlock more
