Do provisional games really take KDA into account?

I'm just wondering, because I'm almost done with my rune pages and almost have the champions I want to start my ranked career. But the thing is is that I main support (not that you'd know it from my recent match history), and I heard that the provisional series takes wins, opponent elos, AND KDA into account when placing you. This seems unfair to the select few of us that have chosen to play the support role. I know that eventually I will end up where I deserve to be regardless of the 10 provisional games, but I'd like to think that I'm not being discriminated against just because I play a helping role instead of a lead star role. As always thanks for reading my post, extra thanks if you leave an answer, and god bless!

only counts Elo, W/L. KDA has no bearing on anything other than personal stats.

Nope.

I main support and in my placements before the seasonal reset, I went 5/10 landing in Silver with an MMR of around 1400.

So I highly doubt your KDA has a massive impact, if any, on your MMR/Elo.
