There have always been these types of threads in pretty much every season, but I do agree they seem to be a lot more common nowadays.
There's so many different changes happening one after another.
The removal of both Team Builder and Dominion plus the addition of the Dynamic Queue, the constant rework after rework after rework paired with the continuous changes to champions' lores and characterizations (plus the Mage update that's planned to happen Soon™), the lack of communication that's always been prevalent with Riot, it's so much to keep up with and everyone's got an uneasy feeling about what is going to get changed next.
Something's odd about this season.
There's just so much going on constantly, one after another, and there's no way for anyone to be heard unless 80% of the League population says it as well.
Like.. I'm still waiting for the Team Builder Icons to be awarded, but there's barely any chance any Rioter will ever notice anything I say, much less actually respond since it's something that's supposed to be "in the works" and Riot doesn't talk about anything that's supposed to be behind the scenes. What's worse about this is the reason the Icons weren't being awarded was because of a bug. A bug that Riot even announced was the reason they weren't being awarded prior to Team Builder's removal. But trying to make a thread about it is useless because that was 3 months ago and no one's talking about it anymore.
But I digress.
There's just a lot happening at once and it just seems to be building up more and more. That paired with how much the game has grown, and it's becoming way too crowded for anyone to keep it under control.
