Why do these threads get down voted?

I simply ask about builds for a champ I have been thinking of playing and suddenly I get down voted on that thread, what's the deal here? :/

In all honesty, I feel that there should be an option to turn votes on or off before we publish the thread, but hey that's just me.

Because, Gameplay is for complaining about X champion, not for how to play them. Everyone in Gameplay knows that.

Tips&Tricks is gone. I actually would read dummy builds and try them out there. That's actually how I started Jungling Teemo way back then.

Why'd they remove tips and tricks? I think that woulda been a helpful board.

The usage of upvote/downvote varies per person, with Riot's official stance being "whatever a person chooses to use upvotes/downvotes for is fine, so long as they're consistent about it."

I know that I tend to downvote posts that are blatantly wrong or that I disagree with. If I'm neutral on it, I usually leave it be. If I like it/agree with it, upvote.

Using my metric, it'd have to be a pretty terrible build for me to downvote it.

I never really post builds, the only one I'd probably post is Veigar, as everyone knows how to build him, flat AP, and joke with your team as you drop the opposition from 100% to -300% XD
