I just got done playing the WORST game I've ever played, and it isn't because I played bad, or because I fed, but it was because I was verbally abused all game long by a certain someone that I WISH I could say on these boards, but I'm over and above that level.

This certain someone not only verbally attacked me, my family, and my personal life, but he also lied to the other team framing me as the one making the insults. With the other team not knowing any better, they believed him instead of me, which resulted in me receiving several reports for "Verbal Abuse," when I was the one being abused.

Not only that, but this person also AFK'd when a surrender vote didn't pass 3/2, and when the enemy team was told I was the one who actually AFK'd, they believed it.

This is absolutely unacceptable, and there's no way to prove to the enemy team that I was the one being attacked all game long, AND ON TOP OF IT I'm the one going to be punished, if anyone, because I'm the one with the reports.

My suggestion? Allow the other team to read the enemy team's chat at the end game screen. Not only might it be pretty interesting to see what they said at certain times, but it's also a way to prove that I was the one being abused all game long.

Riot, this isn't something you can just layoff for another day. This is a huge problem, and it's disheartening having to play with people like the people I played with, and I hope that you can find a fix for this, because I honestly don't want to ever have to deal with that again.

learn to mute, one game of no communication is not going to change where you stand in the big scheme of things

then report them at the end of game with an explanation, you would be surprised in the overall results, gl

Just so you know, getting that message that you were reports doesn't necessarily mean that you will get banned. It's just a notification that you got reported. As long as you weren't toxic in the game, you shouldn't get banned. Also, you should've reported the other player

I kind of hate when people say that. Mute them and you won't have to deal with it longer than you have to. Mute them, do not speak to them at all, especially don't tell them they are muted or going to be reported, and report them at the end.

We've all played this game. We're aware of the enemy top laner split pushing our towers down. We're aware of the enemy support that keeps wandering away from the fight to ward. We're even aware of the enemy ADC that was insta-killed by our assassin before the rest of the team could get there.

What you're suggesting is that you weren't any of those. You were so far removed from the game that the enemy didn't even know if you were at your keyboard. Furthermore you're suggesting that the enemy team was convinced that the other player actually was one of those guys that they thought they'd seen.

You're either flat out lying, or the other team was so determined to be a jerk to you that your suggestions wouldn't have mattered.

Don't worry about it. The way banning for a case like this works is you are punished by the tribunal. The case is sent to the tribunal by an automated system if you are reported enough times and then other players will judge you. The tribunal sees both team's chat logs as well as player builds. I have participated in this many times and I have been on the majority side of the vote 100% of the time, so I know that most people judge fairly.
