[TUTORIAL] Viewing Your Friends' Champions and Champion Masteries
You can't view them at the same time though. (I don't know if many people know how to do this, but my friends certainly didn't, so this is why I'm posting this here. If this was common knowledge, feel free to judge me for not being in the know.) Anyways, in order to view a friend's (entire) mastered champion list...
-
Go to his or her profile. You'll see his or her top three champions and the ability to see eight more champions he or she has in progress. However, this isn't what I'm talking about. This does not allow you to see if a player has more than three level fives or see any more champions than the eight in progress. This method should allow you to see another player's mastered champion list like the one you view when you open your champions tab.
-
Do something that will sap your bandwidth. This means downloading a large file (small files work, but you have less time), watching a Youtube video (or multiple), opening an indepth MobaFIRE guide, or whatever. It has to make you lag.
-
While the thing is loading, go to your profile quickly, and view your champions page. If you've done it right, the game should think that you're still viewing the other player's champion page and will not change to your champion page until you refresh (because of the delay). Now change the "Sorting" to "Highest Mastery", change the "Availability" to "All", and you should be good to go. You'll be able to view the other player's mastered champion list like it is your own. (This sometimes doesn't work. If you're dire to learn what champions your friends have mastered, try reloading the webpages or starting another download, and then trying the method again. If you still can't do it, maybe restart your League Client.)
Okay, so you know what champions your friends have mastered, but you aren't quite sure which of those champions your friends actually own, aside from the level fives (if they have any). Here comes the easier, but more tedious part.
- Open the Store page.
- Go to Gifting Center.
- Select a friend.
- Select gift a champion to that friend.
- You'll see that there is a list of champions that you can gift to your friend. If you keep the "Not Owned" (or the "Show All", it doesn't matter) box checked, then these champions are the champions that your friend doesn't own.
- Find a list of champions and start crossing off all the champions that your friend doesn't have. (This is easier if your friend owns a lot of champions).
- The champions that you are left with are your friend's owned champions.
Hope this helps you!
(You're not being a stalker, I promise.)
