like can we choose between the original skin vintage design ( which i think is pretty sick with the border, but the crown looks a bit small) and having a different colored champ riven ?
black championship riven sounds sick af and i would choose that over the vintage design.
note this has nothing to do with the release so if someone comments some shit about me being selfish and not wanting others to get the skin, im going to blow.

Original owners of Championship Riven will receive a custom vintage loading screen (it's different than the previous vintage borders we've used in the past), and an exclusive crown and a glowing particle on her sword when her ultimate, “Blade of the Exile” is activated. Original owners will get the “vintage” version of her updated model and the new version as well.

I'm just curious how you guys use different animations depending on outside conditions (from a technical standpoint).
Like is it decided in game which animation to show when Riv ults by checking if the skin is vintage or not? Or do you guys just have 2 skins with the same name....

On a different note I'm down to my last 2k IP and am debating whether I should buy the yellow Zac or the orange one.
Is there any reason you guys released such similar looking chromas (i know there was a scrapped black one, idk if thats a factor).
What do you like better yellow or orange zac?

There was a black one, but due to gameplay clarity, it was scrapped, but that didn't affect the release of other colors. This was in the early days of chromas, and iirc was a choice made because there was Pool Party Zac (blue) coming out, base Zac (green) and Special Weapon Zac (purple). Not sure why red wasn't chosen here, but it was to give another option in terms of color. Buuuut, orange and yellow are pretty similar. :x

I work on skins, and subsequently ward skins, yup! Having text in the game is a bit tricky, since we need to localize it for all regions. :c Making a sign like this for a ward is a bit out of the question.
You're right - IP sales aren't forever. This current sale goes through September 8th. We do plan on having several IP sales a year, though. I'm not sure which chromas will be applicable each time around for 2k IP each, but we'll have everything listed out the next time a chroma IP sale rolls around. :)

A lot of regions aren't a fan of skulls, haha. But yeah, images are usually a-okay! :D

unlucky. well regardless, the border is sick as hell. if you guys could like make the crown bigger tht would be awesome. i saw the picture and in game model and it looks so small.
