League off of external hard drive or USB stick?

Im on an extended trip with no laptop. Library wont allow installs on their computers. Has anyone ever tried running league off of an external hard drive? Or even a USB stick if thats possible? If i could get it to run on one of those i could play at the library

with a UBS stick or external hard drive? Did you just choose that location as the install location and then open and run it like any other program?
