Welp, seeing as how 85% of the time people don't actually take anyone's post seriously unless it is in the Memes and Gaming section, yeah, Boards is kind of a big joke.

If you took the time to make a detailed post on your opinion about a champion's current balance state, first you'll be downvoted into oblivion and then the few people who do comment clearly didn't read the whole post and bring up factors you've already pointed out. Meaning simply, there is no real reason to take Boards seriously and put any actual effort into your posts.

Basically hit the nail on the head with my frustrations with the Gameplay board. It's pretty frustrating, honestly. It's just a bunch of low elo players circlejerking about low elo problems and telling everyone who says otherwise that they're wrong and stupid.

The reason why no one's balance post are taken seriously is because 99% of the time it's just someone complaining about a champion they don't like personally.

Ex. someone made a post about changing soraka to where all her healing abilities are channeling abilities that take a minimal of 5 seconds or more to cast along with an overbearing CD. Where in a teamfight, she's 80% useless and can be interrupted.

The thing is, soraka is neither strong nor weak.. she's actually in a decent place. When asked what compelled him to want this, he said he "got tired of the healings".
