So I own gangplank and play him occasionally for fun. I saw he got his rework and tried him out a few times in custom games to see what he's like, I was satisfied and didn't play him after that.
Now Riot announces that everyone who plays GP IN A MATCHMADE QUE during the event gets a free skin... after disabling him.
So I don't get the free skin now because I can't play GP. Nice one Riot.

Gangplank will be enabled before the event ends on August 10th, so you'll still have time to earn your skin! :D Also, if you played him at the beginning of the event before his was disabled, in a match made queue, you've already earned the skin.
Reading is hard. He'll be back online before the event ends. Also, since you already played him post rework you're already getting the skin.
He's going to be enabled with the patch and you'll have plenty of time to play him before the event ends.
Seeing as vs ai can get you the skin I'm a little bit at ease about this. I haven't played GP in a long time and wouldn't want to risk playing against other people. Plus it would be easier to get him that way than playin with other people who will just instalock.
And then everyone bans GP T_T
