UI suggestion: picks/bans

I feel there's room for improvement in the picking and banning of champs.

Sometimes it's hard to find the icon you want in the cluster of icons. You've only got X seconds to make a selection and some slimey butt face calls a role and acts indignant if you try to take it. In the mean time you are busy trying to figure out who to ban. This is me, but I can pick them out by name faster than by icon.

The way the current interface is laid out just slows me down personally in a place where I don't have a lot of time and that tends to put extra pressure on me.

There's a hundred champs and all their icons don't leap out to all at once when I've got 50 things going through my head and potentially fighting with teammates over my role. I mean if I could just type in a K and all the K champs are shown so I could click on kass quicker, that'd be a ton easier for me then trying to scroll around and find him or whatever champ I'm looking for.

It'd be nice if I could select 5-8 champs I can commonly ban who would be highlighted in the ban screen. Maybe they could be up top in a row of their own. Also, all champs that are on your teammates lists could be highlighted differently as well.

Also, it'd be nice if bans didn't start right away so I have a few seconds to call a role instead of having to do that or fight with my team while trying to ban. This really pisses me off. I feel under pressure to start banning and someone calls what I want first and it just pisses me off that I have another thing to deal with. So I'm put in a position where I'm first pick and I still don't get what I want or I'm the jerk who "steals" a role that someone called first.

You have no idea how much this pisses me off and makes me hate being first pick. Really people? I have to figure out bans and try to coordinate a team when half the people aren't talking aside from calling and you are going to pull the called first crap on me.

So it's either feel like crap because I had to give up first pick because some copypasta guy insta called while I'm busy being responsible and making sure the first must ban champ is banned or feel like crap because I am forced to snipe a pick and be that guy and suddenly everyone's feelings are hurt.

For the tiny minority like me, first pick is no bloody fun at all.

Perhaps if we can load our ban list both sides can set up a list first and the game will resolve it on its own, first to last.
