I remember that with a lot of my mains I ended up having close to immediate synergy while (almost) everything felt fluid pretty much straight away when I started playing them. Especially if their playstyle and character were to my taste.

Yes, with Lux, and kind of surprising to me because I'm a new player (months), had/have little experience and had only 2 ADC champions I used.
I was looking for a Mid mage. I had seen Lux played and understood and liked the abilities from seeing and reading about them. I had asked about and tried many other champs and couldn't get the hang of them easily due to little experience. However, I felt good enough about Lux that I bought her without even having had the opportunity to try her in game. I played her, and I was able to understand the abilities and use combinations which where intuitive.
