Guys, no matter who you are or where you are, I must tell you... [Real Talk Warning]
Please, treasure your life above all else.
Recently somebody I knew was in a fatal car accident. He had been attending college at the young age of 22, as well, so he still had so much to live for. To think... that we can mess up once in our lives, one small blunder, and we can destroy something irreplaceable in the process. EDIT: Apparently the cause was two cars racing on an Interstate highway that caused a four car collision. I do not know what to make of this news.
Guys, whether you drive or not, if you don't need to take a risk, don't. You can be late for an arrangement or something, but don't speed down a highway mindlessly. Arriving 5 minutes sooner is not worth your life. Not to mention your loved ones, who would be devastated if goodness forbid something like that happened. Sure, there are people who can be kind of unfriendly or a bit of a jerk sometimes, but nobody, NOBODY deserves to lose their life over some ill words or misled actions.
Guys, I'm not asking for pity, or condolences, or anything superficial like that. I just want to remind everyone here that your life is worth so, so much more than you can even imagine. Life is a treasure you must safeguard, because you only get it once.
Stay safe out there, guys. Nothing has more worth than a human life. Especially yours.
