Awkward Skin Prices

I was just thinking a little and thought to myself, Why are skins priced so oddly. Wouldn't it make sense if the prices were more rounded? Here's what I was thinking;

400 Rp instead of 395
500 Rp instead of 520
1000 Rp instead of 975
1250 Rp instead of 1350
2000 Rp instead of 1820
The 750 skins and Ultimate skins are fine.

I was thinking how they evened out the costs of items in game and thought that it would make more sense they could also round off the amount of Rp you buy and adjust the price accordingly. This would mean you would never come up with like 1 Rp missing for another skin or leftover Rp. Also when skins came on sale they wouldn't be very odd numbers.

The pricing on skins (champions, boosts, all of that stuff) and the amounts of RP they sell is deliberate.

You're always meant to have something left to encourage you to buy more.

But wouldn't it be better if it was more even? Like OCD all the way but seriously it would be a lot neater and feel better.

They are designed in a way to get you to buy the maximum amount of RP. The odd numbers make it less likely that you will ever have very low RP. And people sitting on 100 RP are more likely to buy some more then people with 0.

Exactly. And it is purposely priced so that you have to buy more RP than you need to buy something. You need to buy at least 650 to get a 520 skin, at least 1380 to get a 975 skin, etc

Yes but they can still do that with even prices, I just want them to be even godamnit! They can just sell like 1500 rp for you to buy a 1250 skin. At least then you would have an even number of rp left like 250.

Alright, they sell 1500 RP and you buy a 1250 skin. Now you buy 500 worth of RP and buy a 750 skin, and you have 0 RP. This makes people less likely to buy more RP (as even though you might need the same amount of money, if you are closer in RP it feels like the item you want is cheaper).
