When I can't even get mastery level 6? I've spent all my time playing Taliyah since release, trying to get at least to mastery level 6 before the next patch, only to be gated by this completely irrelevant system. I haven't received any key fragments in days, and all but two chests I have ever opened only contained skin shards, while only champion shards give blue essence.

I don't care if I'll be able to purchase champion shards next patch to fix this temporary issue; the fact that I can't have my mastery level right now makes all this effort feel like a waste of time. I can't even attempt for level 7 mastery tokens before I get level 6 unlocked, so I honestly don't even want to play league at all.

Taliyah is the only champion that I've truly enjoyed playing in months, and this current system makes me feel like any good performances from here on out are just going to go to waste. How can I play a good game of league with this on my mind when all I wanted since this patch hit was to get mastery level 6?

Edit: Forgot to specify that I already have the mastery tokens. I'm short twelve blue essence and have no way to get any more reliably without spending money.

Only in video games where people complain about not getting free stuff. But let's take a more in-depth look in your matter. You're complaining about how you're not able to get mastery level 6 with Taliyah. When looking at your past games with Taliyah.

  • You don't upgrade your trinkets
  • Your cs average is pretty low
  • Your kill participation is pretty low

Try improving on those three. Not to rag on you, but if getting master level 6 and 7 was easy, it wouldn't be worth anything. Look at my past games on OP.GG with Lucian, because in playing normals, I got from mastery level 5-7 with Lucian in about 5-6 games.
