Almost any champ can take you to high elo if you are good enough with them.

You are missing the point.

He's number 79 of all the Mordekaiser's in the world.

With over 30 million players, being in the top one hundred of a champion is a big deal.

yah... but how many of those 30 mil players play morde?... im not saying it still isnt impressive, but morde does have a significantly smaller player base.

That makes it all the more impressive. That small player-base is probably made up on people who play Morde constantly. So that fact that MM got into the top 100 is huge.
