I used to play him more like one year ago, but match history doesn't go that far back.
Anyway, I generally go top with him and completely skip the mana-build. Instead I go penetration build with full apen runes (Quints and Marks) since they synergize with his kit greatly.
I do not claim to be Urgot pro, as I rarely play him ranked (and not at all in ranked solo q, since other players start freaking out if I try), but I recommend trying this way of playing.
I really do love urgot and im really glad i found this post. I just started playing him again YESTERDAY. My best Urgot match happened before I was lvl 30, and way back in the middle of season 3, so no match history :(, but I did go 32/4/6 or something akin to that number.

If you're curious, there are more matches in my match history where I've played Urgot, but just decided to post this one in particular. Going to start playing him in ranked again when the new season starts (haven't played him in ranked since I was around Silver III or so).
