Shaclone says Platinum is the best. He says Diamond is full of dumb people who act like they were boosted there but couldn't climb any higher. Then there's fraction of good people in high Diamond and in Master and Challenger If they weren't boosted. But he says most people who can tryhard, who have good team cooperation and listen well to ping-calls are in Platinum.
BUT, he used to be Master and fell down to Diamond and got demoted to Diamond III the moment he said it and was really pissed about it, so I took what he said with a bag full of salt and a little overview. I'm far from there so I don't know by experience I can only interpret what he said.
But I'm pretty sure there's lot of Diamondees there who will tell you better what's it like in those circles.
PS: And I know you meant it as joke but had the feel to just tell this. Don't even know why I should have said that :D I just had writing urgue. So on the non-serious note - try to change your main to Taric for Dia, Yi for Master and Xin for Challenger and it'll be fine.

Is there even a need to climb any higher past Gold V this season anyway? Ranked is aids, the game is busted as hell, riot working on memes and lore while the rift is ruled by 8 champions that are broken as fuck, is there even a reason to play this game anymore lmao.

At Diamond 5, it becomes an even bigger ELO hell than plat was. A lot of people got boosted to diamond 5. Now I am not saying it's like 90%. It's just when most people get boosted the ideal rank is prob diamond. Then on top of that, you just got those players who have hit their skill ceiling and has to improve a lot in order to climb again. The disparity in skill becomes more and more clear as you get to higher diamond as players in game make less and less mistakes. All of a sudden those squishy champs feel tanky because everyone is dodging each other's abilities and juking each other nonstop. Sometimes you won't get a kill until like 30 minutes in or there will be like 30 deaths. You just don't know. You will start seeing those LCS plays and jukes almost every game.

Diamond 2+ is some of the best ranked games ive ever played. Very competitive
