Weathered5 votesI'm going to be completely honest and not fluff around the edges, I had bough Swain literally the day prior to this happening. I started blue side with a leash from bot lane with 3 pots and a talisman. I started W and then took Q and was barely able to do blue buff by using the stuns and slows to kite around it. I then did scuttler and was able to do wolves after with smite.
I maxed R>E>W>Q, but as I'm thinking about it R>W>E>Q would probably work really well if not better. It's not too bad when you get your blue buff, and his Q is actually useful because you can gank from behind and have the slow work for longer since they are walking towards it. It really relies on your laner to have the damage to burst the enemy down and finish him, but your sustained damage and cc are really good for keeping then still.
The jungle matchup was Elise if you were wondering, and I used the default build except Runic Echos had replaced ROA.

Weathered2 votesMy runes were Flat AP Quints, Flat Magic Pen, Scaling MR perlvl, Health perlvl. Masteries, well, I don't fully remember since I had to panic pick them since I was in a rush. I know they were 18/12/0 with Deathfire touch, and were pretty much what you would expect for mid lane, but switching to the buff extension mastery instead of the Assassin one.
It didn't necessarily "work" as much as I was able to just gank really easy opportunities to get a kill or two, power farm, and then become a late game monster in the end and do enough damage/tank to get an S.

Morde's got hyper sustain and great AoE clearing so you can usually stay in the jungle forever, needing nothing more than your machete. First item Rylais and then get a Steraks Asap, only as my third item I upgrade my chilling smite into a Cinderhulk.

Hey Malicious , as someone who had Mordekaiser as their second ever owned champ , I remember grinding 3k IP with Ashe to be able to buy Mordekaiser because I thought he looked badass as hell(I still think he is) and then I played him for over a month nonstop. Eventually I stopped because I got a bit tired of him and moved on with others. And so a fiew years later I resumed maining Mordekaiser , I have played him for over a month now and I wanted to ask you a thing or two. Since you are probably the most popular Mordekaiser main. I would also like to apologise for having this conversation on this thread , but since there is no such thing as Pms in the forum and we are from different servers I am afraid that this is one of the fiew places where I can converse with you. Anyway - I wanted to ask , I saw in your match history that a build pattern is obvious and one of the items that stood out to me was 
. So a question why Steraks? I mean I know what it does and with Mords great base ad it works great , but do you think Nashtors Tooth is a good replacement? I find the AS buff , CDR and on hit effeck benefit him greatly. With the correct build I do I get his ult down to ~58'ish seconds CD(perma ghosts). So I ask , why Steraks - is it that good? I mean if you(a true Mord main) keep building it then there is obviously some good interactions going on there. My usual builds are 
and then the last item is my situational - eighter 
in enemy is ap heavy or 
if ad heavy. I usually always follow this build because it gives me everything I need. With Runes I hit 45% CDR. But I see that your build is a bit different. And since your Win/Loss ratio is quite abit better than mine then obviously your build is better(I know that ingame plays have alot to do with the wins/losses but we all know that Mordekaiser has a fairly repetetive ability use). What can you tell me about your build. I want to be a true'n'true Mordekaiser main. I need to know the optimal builds. And who else to give me tips than you. I am also planning a namechange to something that whan you read it suggests "Yea, this is a Mordekaiser main".
