No that's not me in the gif. But yes I sometimes fight deathclaws without power armor. But at those times it normally involves me using a fatman followed up by a rocket launcher, followed up by a fully upgraded shotgun to its belly when it gets close.

Yeah, I dont think much would survive that XD My usual is to go EVERYWHERE in my power armor (lovin that T-60e) and wreck faces with full upgrade Le Fusil Terribales aka the wreck everything shotgun (50% flat bonus dmg, worse recoil minimized with mods)

I just got a full suit of X-01 and I'm loving it! Also I found that shotgun too. I anded up using it so much I ran completely out of shotgun ammo, of which I hadn't used any and was just stockpiling it until I found the gun lol

I'm waiting for lvl 40 (38 right now >.<)to get the guaranteed full suit at the abandoned shack. if you go b4 you might only get a partial XD. and yeah, that thing burns through ammo hardcore but is so strong

WARNING!! That suit in the abandoned shack is in fact NOT always going to be a full suit! I was level 46 when I went there and I was so happy when I found it, but it was missing both the right arm and right leg. The actual full suit can be found at the top of a tower after defeating a pair of robots and pressing two switches. However this suit is also some what glitched as the eyes will not light up whenever you use the armor's headlamp. Also the armor will look like T-60 before you take it, but it's actually X-01 MARK III.

Plasma weapons shred Deathclaws you can drop one with a mag and a half if its upgraded.

Yeah, deathclaws aren't a problem for me anymore. I just use shotguns and combat rifles to kill them now days. It's only the alphas and mythics that I yes heavy firepower on now.

maybe it's a pipe rifle like I found with 50% chance to cripple legs...deathclaws are pretty pathetic once you break their knees.

I remember in FO3 screwing with deathclaws using the dartgun, 100% chance to cripple both legs no matter where hit, plus poison. So much fun
