It's especially bad as a devourer Shyvana...

'My ganks are only so effective, and I need to stack my devourer, please stop feeding your lanes"

Not worth jumping in unless I can guarantee a kill or two, otherwise I'll just be putting off devourer and my own farm.

Shyvana is awful at ganking, but a queen of the jungle.

she can repel a gank...but initiating is really hard, since she lacks CC

Pre 6 yes, post 6 i just press R and take blue smite, this helps with her lack of cc. Her w damage and speed buff his typically what players under estimate about her kit. I typically go cinderhulk so I can tank two people early.

She has her ult, which is a knock-back and dash, but it sucks because it's easily interrupted. Dragon's Descent should be unstoppable.

It's also a bit tricky to aim, since in a lot of situations to get an angle where you push them away from safety is difficult.

Pretty accurate...

Unless you're tanking, you should farm like a maddragon.
