When has Riot in general used logic?
The good old cheeto door lock trick. One of the ways I keep my username safe from the haters out there.
i mean there are moderators who follow around the same accounts for over a year to find every little piece that might be considered against the rules to ban them.
I can understand why on other websites they don't want discussion in forums to devolve into nothing back-and-forth shaming, but HERE that is one of the dumbest policies and biggest wastes of time ever when ranked match history is SUPPOSED to be on public record.
Moderators need such rules so they can feel important. Otherwise they go depressed, and commit suicide. Like that 9999 quadrillion people who did, because someone was toxic against them.
Unlike on steam where this is actually justified let me expalin why it is NOT justified in League of Legends.
!!NAMES ARE UNIQUE ON SERVERS!! In Steam you can rename yourself at any time, and you can give yourself the same name as another, then commit all kind of atrocities, and have the other guy "shamed" for it. In LoL you can't do that. You can't register a new account, and give it the exact same name as mine. Also it costs money to rename yourself, but okay you have it. Still the system simply doesn't allow it.
it really is a weird rule. especially since you are allowed to link your match history and name the champ the person played. but youre not allowed to name the persons summoner name. oh well
