I had a game where I picked Zyra mid and my entire team freaked out about how i was being an idiot. And Lucian not talking to anyone just kept saying "two supports"... "two supports". Later in the game I blew up their tanky top laner in 1 second flat and got a "what?" from him, to which I replied "you were saying support?"

Doesn't mean I won't wreck face. Just means it takes me 1 second to blow someone up instead of 0.25.
DeynaTaggerung3 voteshaha actually Zyra came out as a mid laner and always has been one, even though C9 popularized her as a support she's always been a viable mid, just not meta. And since they fixed her plant AI she's been pretty solid mid.
That aside, yeah those are all pretty cool, and you get the advantage of knowing the matchup while your opponents have no idea what they're supposed to be doing.

KatCraft3 votesShe is by no means a bad midlaner, she just doesnt do anything special that other mids cant and doesnt justify her weaknesses like squishy, low mobility, and skillshot reliant.
DeynaTaggerung1 votesActually here plant AI works perfectly now. It properly focuses what you focus and when set up near/on an enemy champ focuses them, seems legit to me. And the nerfs were because she was OP, but her current spot in mid is actually really good, I wouldn't be surprised to see more nerfs(although that won't happen with the rise of assassins making her look weak)

And I've had them stop focusing champions a few times. Makes harassing with them difficult. And if you get stunned/blinded, they become useless.

Incandecense1 votesWell it does matter if it was a while ago or not. Rek'sai's scaling on abilities were nerfed quite significantly since her release. I remember her being completely broken top-lane/jungle, imagine illaoi currently and how frustrating she is against melee champions and entire teams in a teamfight.
She was terrifying to play against.
