Would still make splitpushing impossible. All they need to to is kill your team 5v4 and then use the gold they earned that fight to undo all your progress.

that's not true. 1: usually (if not always) splitpushers got TP just to stop those kind of things. 2: if you kill 5 ppl you gain 1500 gold + lets say 500 (?) from assist that means that if you want to rebuilt a tower you need all of the money you gained from that tf. In addition you have to remember that enemy team gained gold from the tower they destroyed and will gain it again once they will destroy your tower next time. That's not all because while you spent all your money rebuilding a tower they used those money to get better gear and destroy you next fight.

pls don't come out with "yea but enemy team after the tf would have destroyed a tower too" because a good splitpusher in the meantime would have destroyed 2.

What about when a player hits full build and gold is pointless to them, you wait long enough and rebuilding towers would just cause the snowballing team to get an even larger lead because the enemy has to re-destroy towers to get back where they were.
