Doctor Jarvis1 votes...no, they arent. Masochism means enjoying pain done to yourself. The health cost and scaling with lost health obey that theme. Sadism is enjoying inflicting pain on others, as Mundo can do with the increased movement speed (which seems to imply that he's all giddy about being able to hit people)
