The hardest part of playing Yi is controlling yourself and not diving into the enemy every time your Q is up. God it is so tempting!

Let's just compare 2 abilities shall we?

Master Yi's Q: Instantly unable to be targeted, high base damage, hits up to 4 enemies, cooldown is reduced by auto attacks, short cooldown, and very high mobility.

Zed's Ultimate: Small delay between when the ability is activated and when you are unable to be targeted, basically no base damage, hits 1 person, MUST be paired with other abilities, High damage when paired with abilities, sets shadow you can go back to, and usually has about a 60 second cooldown.

Final Analysis: There is definite reason Riot chose the Chinese word for easy as this guy's name.

Don't even get me started on his heal. It gives more armor and magic resist than Alistar's ultimate (or at least that's how it feels) PLUS it heals for more health than is good for the game. In order to counter master yi, you need a form of auto-target hard cc that can't be dodged by Q, more hard CC to counter ult, A knock-up or knock-back to counter w, and high mobility and defenses. If there was a champion like that, they would get more hate than Yasuo does. The fact of the matter is, Yi is a very Over-Powered champion intended for beginners in an effort to get more people to play the game, but shouldn't be allowed to be played in higher ranked matches. (ranked, or matchmaking of level 20+)
