I'd call it a short movie. A lot ofmovies used to only last between 60 and 90 minutes. It wasn't until about 10 years ago that movies started becoming 2 hours long. So it kinda falls into the short movie area.

I know! I started watching it recently. Been a while since I've seen the whole thing from season 1 episode 1. Is it sad that I watched the ENTIRE show from season 1 - 10 or 11 (y'know, before 12 and 13 started)? None of it was in ONE SITTING, mind you, that would just be absurd! lol

How would that be bad? Red vs Blue is a good series that's pretty funny. The fact that they only got better as they made it, means that as you watch it you still have a good time and it doesn't feel like it's getting old or stagnant. Watching it from back when the first season was still relatively new is a good thing.

I actually don't know any other vet that dislikes the newer games. But, ok you can believe most of us hate the new ones. My uncle thats played just as long as I have (since halo:come evolved release date for first xbox) still plays them and enjoys them. My issue is the storyline. The online gameplay has always been crisp and satisfying. Notice how I said nothing about online gameplay. And everything about storyline. If those idiots knew anything about what they were doing they'd at least flesh out the lore before trying to fucking kill someone off dude. All I'm saying. Only a complete moron would kill off someone the first chance they get. Espically if they plan to just revive them in the next game as yet another middle finger to the storyline lol.

Which I'll bet money on they will do it within the next few games cortana gets revived by some XXX bullshit or at least something similar to her because of skin fragments or w/e nonsense.

It has been established for over a decade now (long before 343i took control of the franchise) that AIs only have a 7 year lifespan before they enter rampancy. Cortana, in the lore, was 8 years old, and thus had already begun her degeneration. By the time she died, she was just a fragment of what she once was. Also, since she was linked with several forerunner artifacts, and she fragmented herself throughout a forerunner ship when she died, it is quite believable that somehow she could return in the future.

Is that not common knowledge? I thought it was. So when you're not really explaining enough of the lore through the game then whats the point in them making a campaign mode anyway? There isn't. I'd rather there not be one then a shitty one thats just a mess of bullshit lol

Actually the books are based off of the first halo game, Halo Combat Evolved. Not the other way around.
