Neither. They would fight and cause a massive backlash, unleashing a devastating energy wave that would destroy all life as we know it.

lets say we picked 10 random people off the streets that have never played league or dota and we had them play against each other one side league and the other side dota. the only help they got was getting the actual game started and they had to figure out everything else (champs, items, skills, ect...) based off of how simple league is to play i would give my vote to league.

Dota Characters would run out of mana almost immediately while League characters never do, but the Dota abilities being overpowered might be too hard to deal with. I would say early game favors League, lategame favors Dota heavily though.

Personally, I think that dota would win. The early game would be a drag because we don't have items that give us sustain like the Dorrhan's line, but as it started getting later and later dota would probably win. We have evasion, the ability to stun you for long amounts of time (assuming neither side had tenacity), and the ability to upgrade our ultis using Aghanim's sceptre (assuming the hero in question has one). However Armor would have the equalized. Simply because in dota assuming all physical damage, 1 point of armor gives ~6% more HP. And with agility carries when maxed out (not counting morphling), will have anywhere from the 9-15 range including items. Also, although LoL has item 3026, we have the ability to buy back every 6 minutes. (Assuming they have the gold that is). (We can also kill a dragon/barron esque creature called Roshan that gives a full respawn item that lasts for a few minutes). However it does prevent us from gaining gold from creeps, and a few other things. And although we don't have AP scalings, our supports are able to scale based on their abilities with how long their CC can be. Plus we have BKB (or magical immunity ((Immunity to almost all non ultimate CC, and 100% magical resistance so only pure (((true) damage can damage through it)) Tl;dr: Lol Early, Dota Mid to Late game.

depends on what you mean. but if youre talking champions vs. heroes then DoTA 2 would

Lore wise, DotA would fucking crush LoL. LoL has things like Brand/Xerath/Azir, who are extremely powerful....

But DotA literally has gods and fundamental concepts of the universe. Chaos Knight, KotL, Io, and Enigma could canonically solo the entire LoL universe. They're obscenely powerful (Chaos Knight is Chaos/darkness, KotL is light/order, Io is electromagnetism, and Enigma is gravity.)

If Xerath was unbound, he would probably stand a good chance, though. He's basically the only champion near that level of power.

Gameplay wise, It depends. DotA has some heroes that would be incredibly broken against LoL champs, while others would be utterly useless until later on.

TBH, I'd give it to DotA, since LoL doesn't have the obscene CC chains that DotA does nor does it have many of the stronger item concepts. I mean, in-game Bane can CC chain you for 12 seconds without any items at all. With items Bane can feasibly CC a person literally forever. Then you have nonsense like Cancer Lancer, Sniper, PA, Lifestealer, etc. all of whom have abilities and concepts that would be utterly broken in LoL (PL's illusion army, Sniper having more than double Caitlyn's range, PA having 50% evasion and crits the size of Miami, Lifestealer's Infest mechanic and Rage's spell immunity, and so on.)

The only thing LoL really has going for it is how easy its champions are able to spam spells. DotA doesn't have that capability early on most heroes (because they'd be broken as fuck if they could.)

From what I hear, Dota.

Have you seen DoTA Heros? Those dudes has like 4 second cd flash abilities with 4x the range of flash and like 5 second stuns on basic abilities.

If you mean fanbase, based on how many keyboard warriors there are on league, I would say league.

Dota heroes will smash League champs...

Depends; if you were to show random people gameplay, it would be dota. To play it; it would be your personal preference.

Prismatic10/27/2014, 7:42:28 PM1 votes

Lore wise, or gameplay wise? because both vary extremely.

2000boxes10/28/2014, 4:05:15 AM1 votes

who cares the games are completely different one is based on hard counters and mostly individual skills while league is based on some champs give a few problems for others and mostly on teamwork you are basically asking is it better to go solo or work with team members

DotArds would spam stunlock until antimage farmed to the point of immortality, cause thats how a "superior tactical experience" plays out.
