I may or may not drop into M&G to read some jokes here and there. But I have gotten everything I wanted from the gameplay boards. Shyvana got changes, Ashe's disconnect between gameplay and lore got attention, Riot is working on damage creep. I have nothing further to add, and I don't circlejerk against companies for no raisin. So my job here is done. But I do wish you'd add me ingame, so I have a puny Noxian to make fun of >:)

Gameplay is a salt mine where people go to whine and complain about the game and act like they actually know something. It's just one giant circlejerk rotating through a rarely changing cycle of topics - when one person makes a post that gets a moderate amount of upvotes, twenty others jump on the bandwagon, and that becomes the big issue of the week.

M&G is a happy place filled with memes, gifs, and jokes. We poke fun of the other sub-boards in an attempt to keep them in check and remind people not to take them too seriously. When we comment on the game itself and criticize it, it is done in a lighthearted manner with a joke and a meme, to take away the sting and saltiness of the message. We try to keep people upbeat and keep them feeling positive about League and life.

Except for ~~Tidal Tyrant~~ the people who post puns. They just want to make people cringe.

Mira, it will be a great loss to these boards to see you go. It was a honest pleasure to read your threads and fresh air when you go against the grain and say "No, Riven isn't busted, and I'll tell you why."

Ralnar, Metal, Tidal, Tides, Glory and you among others make these boards a great place to hang out, and you like them had a following. They will all be heartbroken to see you go. </3

But if you really feel like there's nothing more you can add to the boards, then I say you might as well leave on a high note.

In your GD farewell you mention leaving the job of anti-circlejerking to me. I take this passing of the calm anti-rage voice you have given to me wholeheartedly and with a new motivation. I'll honestly never be as indepth with theory and knowledge as you, but it will be an honor to do my very best and make everyone on the boards proud that I'm a regular member. I will try harder than ever to be a positive influence, and it's thanks to you and posters like you that I learned the talents of taking statistics into account, and to never let emotions cloud my judgement with champ balance. But honestly if I had a choice, I would be the one to quit the boards instead of you, because you add so much more than witty one-liners and the occasional intelligent thing on the boards like what I do. But I will do what I can to improve the boards.

So, sayonara Dragon Lady, and may your future adventures be better than the ones you had here.

P.S. I had more to say, but then I realized that you're my friend ingame and can play with you whenever, so it's not really a goodbye forever, just from the boards. :)

I love your memes, I'd lurk just for them ;P but I cannot deal with the echo chamber circlejerking that is the gameplay boards. I tried so hard and got so far, but in the end rageposts are too strong. Eh, I got my Shyvana changes so I am happy.

Thank you for helping to get Shyvana into a better spot. As my number one favorite champion I'm glad she got attention. I really hate hat they did to her passive though. Now you have to focus on getting as many dragons as possible as soon as possible to really benefit from it, which causes you to put yourself in situations the enemy team can easily exploit to suppress you and make you a hindrance on your team instead of a boon.

anyway cya dude. It's probably in your best interest to not waste any more time here anyway since nothing good will come out of it, most likely (unless you consider the cancer in gameplay boards a good thing.) You should add me though- I can cleanse you of the various diseases that gameplay may have infected you with.

edit: Okay that last bit didn't come out the way I wanted it to. Basically what I'm saying is, it's probably in your best interest to stay away from boards lol.

A post defining the difference between a Juggernaut and Tank when everyone was confused about that last year.

A post about Marksmen needing more ammo systems because it is cool.

A post about Jhin being too strong because numerically he was.

A post about EoN needing to be disabled or hotfixed(it was).

Several question posts about Lore.

Dozens of memes.

A post about healthy design vs unhealthy design.

And some others.

But yes, I anti-circlejerk. Because 90% of the community outside the gameplay boards considers the echo chamber called the gameplay boards to be the biggest joke in this community. Associate with communities on Youtube, Discord, Reddit, Facebook and even other subsections on this website, and you will see the spammed circlejerks of the boards are far less common and often laughed at.
