Gonna have to stop ya right there, math is an invaluable tool and I highly recommend you start taking advantage of it.

To save time, I'll give you the rough percentages:

Staccato damage reduced 25%

Power Chord and Aria Cooldown increased 43%

Hymn CD increased 14%, bolt damage reduced 20%, "aura" rank increase damage reduced ~50%

Aria scaling decreased 50%, base heal reduced 38%, damage mitigation reduced ~69%+, mana cost increased 17%

Celerity's CD increased 71%, passive movement reduced 100%

"Aura" range decrease 65%

Crescendo's mana cost STILL NOT standardized at 100 at all ranks

Gonna have too stop ya once again. These numbers are old and outdated.

Also, numbers are great. but do not determine whether or not a champ is successful 100% of the time. Sona is a better champ than she was before, and is more fun to play. Also, her ult is a gamechanger, on a 60 second cool down. Sona is love, sona is life.

She is a supp that provides high bursts of power to her allies, and she is the best in that regard. gg no re

Old and outdated? Well seeing as she hasn't had a single change made to her in 10 weeks, which these numbers are a general calculation of, there's no such thing as "old and outdated." Fact of the matter is, they're still current and will remain so until she's fixed.

I'm not certain why you're bring up her ult, no statistical changes were made to it. This makes me assume you haven't even read the "rework."

Your baseless claim that she provides burst is well-suited to this thread, if only I could believe you weren't actually serious. Math proves that on average, the best-case scenario comparison of the 2 iterations remain roughly equivalent in "burst", whereas the old kit then provided additional sustained damage past that initial cast. To make it simple and this is just an example, which is better: 200 damage; or 200 + ( 100 x 4 ) damage.

If you can find a way to consistently obtain over 1000 ap on Sona every game, then I will concede that the new Sona is playable.

I'm gonna have to assume you have not seen the new Sona in action. "Unplayable". lol

Whether or not the ult was changed does not effect its usefulness. So saying it does not matter is biased and not fair. Sona's ult is what makes her good. Her poke is great. She has a heal and a speed boost. She is a champ made to adapt her kit to various situations, and she does her job excellently.

Since you choose to ignore the existence and irrefutable proof of arithmetic, I'll just have to settle for disproving your libelous and hypocritical propaganda.

Matter of factly, I've seen the "new" "Sona" extensively. I have first-hand, second-hand and third-hand accounts by a multitude of Sona players all attesting to her severely weakened state comparatively. Her poke is very much lower, her heal is the weakest amongst all champions and her speed boost is contradicted in its entirety by its melee range cast radius and suffocatingly long cooldown. She's unable to adapt to any more than a single situation, attempting to take advantage of only 1 ability which need be emphasized entirely by runes, masteries and itemization all targeted at said ability. Even then, she still does that role poorly and is unable to compensate for the evolving state of a single game.

You need to stop talking about Crescendo, it's a non-issue and your continued attempts to point out its usefulness are a hindrance to your stance since; and I reiterate; IT HAS HAD NO STATISTICAL CHANGES MADE TO IT. I'm failing to understand your logic of how Crescendo not being changed justifies nerfing the rest of her kit wholly.

All you do is list numbers. By this logic, Udyr is the best adc in the game. You are ignoring the mechanics of her kit. Claiming crescendo has nothing to do with her new kit is unfair and biased. She provides higher numbers in bursts. Her q does to do higher amounts of damage in bursts. Her q poke is better now than it was before, even without an ally proccing their own auto-attack. Meaning her q has room to be even more powerful if your team is cordinated.

Her w, with ardent censure, heals, shields, and gives the entire team a 25% AS burst. Her e is a BURST of movement speed. Seeing the bigger picture?

Yes, if her passive buffs remained on an ally over a certain period of time the numbers would go high. Thats a given, thats what she did with her old kit, gave sustained buffs. Her new kit gives her shortimed power-spiking buffs, that do more faster, but don't last until you change abilities. She is now a utility champ that provides her allies short (Not really short with 40% cdr, but, old sona did have lower cdr anyways, that is true), but extremely powerful bursts of damage, protection, speed, etc.

She also has a 2 aoe second stun. Sorry, but her ult does count. Doesnt matter if it wasnt changed in the rework, it is part of her kit, and shall be taken into account when judging her strength. Also adds to her bursts of strength mechanic considering it can potentially give your team 2 seconds of free damage with no counterplay from the enemy.

I get the impression that you're a Sona-hating Fearless-worshiping cultist who is happy that she is now failing. Your selective disinformation and blatant unadulterated lies in this post are hard proof of your anti-Sona agenda. You attack him for using numbers, then intentionally provide your own biased and outright false numbers yourself. I'm not certain why you have such animosity and anger towards Sona and want her to be obsolete, but I'm frankly disgusted by it and I pity you.

The stun is only 1.5 seconds. Please continue providing further evidence that you do not play Sona. It helps discredit your untruths and shows you are unqualified to weigh in on this matter.
