I thought the fact, that those were real people, was pretty obvious and that no one got fooled.
draven draven was better than this garbage imo. it's like riot spent no time on this tbh
Edit: Thought I might wanna actually include an argument here. They just took the name override from the devil teemo event, stopped all chat, and created a short, possible paragraph long list of strings that the "bots" say.
While sure, it's kinda funny? I guess? this kinda breaks what riot has usually done with URF and NURF and Draven game mode. All those events were fun; this changes nothing excepts reduces the interactivity between teams.
was playing around 2 am this morning and me and my team came to the conclusion that they were a 5 man premade who somehow got those names and were just typing really weird shit to go along with their names. now that i realize what it actually was i feel like an idiot.
anyone notice the change to the background behind memes and games?

So I saw the Yasuo rework teaser on facebook before I get on, and I get into the game and I'm think all the champs are like doombots 2.0 or something and then boom, 30 sec into the game someone told the team they found a way to get the other teams real names ;~;

It was horrible. It was obvious that they were not bots. Just give us fucking URF. Absolutely zero effort was put into this. Draven Day 2.0
Lol yeah me and my friend were chatting and playing a game together and I decided to get off and he continued to play but me and him still talked, it was like 1 am and him and his team was just so confused, all saying how they queued for normals, and I told him he was in normals. So I go to spectate the game and then see the enemy team's real names, and he was lost, thought the enemy team was like a group of hackers. xD Wasn't till after game he realized it was April's Fool, found it very entertaining.
First time I played it, I recently read the post about "hyper realistic bots being tested" and explained what was happening to my friends in my discord server. So when I got in to a game I was like "Oh, are these guys premade?" When I got into the game, those lines of text in chat popped up and I was like "omg, guys, I was just talking about this."
The first 5 minutes of my reactions included: "Omg, these bots can counterjungle" , "Holy crap, our jungle almost got killed by invading bots" and pretty excessive laughter tbh. Seriously had me freaked out and excited for the whole game. I loved it.
It was stupidest crap ever, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many ppl afk thinking it was bots and they picked wrong mode so they just left....
I started late on my 1st game because i left game and rejoined thinking id picked wrong mode on accident.
Litterally the worst games I have ever had an afk almost every freaking game or people that feed purposely then realize its not bot and then its too late. Wish i could punch whoever thought this up in the face....
