some people just don't recognize the state of the team and only pay attention to how they're doing. everyone else on your team is winning but you're getting wrecked? GG it's over.

alternatively, you're doing well but everyone else is getting absolutely destroyed? it's ok guys we got this don't surrender

To be fair though on either side people are playing this game to have fun. When your down 1-6 and can't deal meaningful damage then its understandable that you don't want to continue playing the game. However as there are 4 other people on your team who all are having fun you are in a position were the only way you can leave is too ruin there times and get reported for it. On the other hand if you are fed lets say 7-2 when the rest of your team is feeding hard 0-5, 1-4 etc. Then you are probably having alot more fun than they are. In this position however unless another person on your team is having fun aswell or realistically thinks that the game is winnable, then it is likely that the other 4 people will surrender ruining that persons fun.

There's nothing satisfying about working your ass off and getting nothing for it. When I'm ahead, I just want to move on to get a team that can actually pull their own weight and win the game. Instead, they trap me and expect me to carry them while they keep feeding.

Hhm well I geuss its just different ways we look at a game. I find that when my team is feeding and Im fed to be some of the best opportunities to improve my own gameplay as it really forces you to maximize everything your doing in each fight to try your hardest to win. Which in turn really helps you do better in the future.

I've come to the conclusion long ago that some people want to lose because of some very perverse sense of defeatism. It's no longer about trying or adapting or digging yourself out of a hole. If the enemy isn't swept aside like a pile of leaves, failure is the only option.
