That's why you wait to engage him until he's wasted his Q on a jungle camp. That's kind of a basic rule of invading - don't engage until they've used their abilities. Or just take their camps while they're on the the other side of the jungle.

Also at level 6 you can just use your Maiden to clear jungle camps and you officially become the fastest jungle clearer in the game.
