Some people prefer bots for trying out a new champion. Sometimes people play normals for just fun, not experimentation.
I love people who waste 20 mins of my time.
This is why I always ask if anyone has a problem with me trying out a new/off meta champ pre game. Not fun to tilt people before the game even starts. Lately it's been support TF.
I agree but not 100%... Let me explain:
A couple of matches ago I had a Jhin going "Woah my screen just moved!" after he used his ultimate. This is too low understanding of your champion even for normals, at least try first a custom where you see what abilities do and if you can do some combos or how such combos work.
Well if you went 1/10 on a champ you don't know how to play in normals I don't get mad until you refuse to ff. Everyone has bad games, but you forcing me to stay 20 more minutes in a game where the enemies are fed out of control is unacceptable
All hail full AS assassin gem man
I actually just gave someone grief for playing the new ww without a test drive in norms. He said he'd understand if it was a ranked game. He suggested I play a solo game instead vs a team game.
I don't think it's fair to waste 4 people's 20-50 minutes so you can try something fun. Go do a 10 min bot game. Do an ARAM. Ask if it's okay with everyone else. SOMEthing. The example above regarding Jhin, "oh my screen moved" is EXACTLY what I'm talking about.
I'm not asking people to practice on bots to build skill. I'm asking for you to take a champ for a spin, and have a BASIC understanding of what your spells do.
A bot game is not too much to ask for.
Yep... I got flamed at by a VERY immature Blitz player today for being "bad" at Diana jungle... a champ I never play and was trying to learn. He literally went on ALL game and had pithy comments for me every time I misplayed or missed a Q.
Especially hilarious thing was, I didn't even do poorly. I ended the game 2/0/2 and had more gold than anyone but the fed as hell adc. What is wrong with people man? I figure this guy just gets picked on a lot at school or something so he's lashing out. It was more sad than anything else.
Its pretty frustrating when you play normals on a regular basis on the first 2 weeks of a champ release. It gets to the point you just start dodging when you get Jhin top for the 3rd time in a day, since the other 2 go 0/6 in lane. I understand wanting to practice a champion, but i get REALLY tired of seeing it over and over and over and over again, especially when the champion is weak such as Illaoi and Jhin were, and still are. I dont even want to talk about release Kindred ultimates in her release week. [zombie-brand-facepalm]
Better in normals then to pull that shit in ranked :/
Did this the other day trying shen out since his rework and the amount of toxic fumes that came out was enough to give me cancer.
