The Yasuo Threads? The Yasuo Threads.
Your argument is invalid because you disagree with me.
Me: "CertainlyT actually is a good champion designer. His champions are fun to play, even though I don't play any of the—" Circlejerkers: "wtf do you know moron. You are just a fanboy! Everybody knows that all of his champions were broken even before they were even released."
Me: "No, most of them weren't, I was around during their rele—"
Circlejerkers: "No you weren't! If you were you'd totally know they're broken AF! PUT CERTAINLYT TO THE STAKE!!!!!"
Circlejerkers have not even heard of the legends that some people had to suffer (and I'm glad I wasn't playing during these times):
Release xin zhao Release leblanc Beta jax Original AP ezreal (healing W) beta(?) twisted fate
and more recently, I suppose: AP yi

There's a lot more than that.
Rework Katarina
Season 2 kassawin banned 99.9% of the time.
Malphite midlane.
Katarina on rework.
Lich bane (used to be 75% of ap) gunblade deathfire grasp Ahri. Press E dfg, auto attack gunblade and even a tank with 3000 hp might be deleted.
Oh yeah, season 2 adc ezreal 75% pickrate, 55% or so winrate.
I can go on.
To be fair,
and
after the Juggernaut update were nightmarish.
was unable to function anywhere except for bot lane where he dominated,
was practically unstoppable with the heal from his Q for a while.
was out of control after the Mage update,
was the bane of every melee/slow champs existence for ages,
is still on people's "top 3 supports I hate to face" lists, even after his shield and R were nerfed hard and
... well... let's just remember the recent influx of Yasuo hate posts and move on.
True, he's made plenty of now iconic champs that have unique gameplay. Love them or hate them, the game would not be the same without any of these champs. But the fact is that a lot of his work has been tied to a lot of backlash and hate has made people wary of anything he does, to the point where they forget about things like the
update that everyone was happy with.

Yes, pretty much this. On the other hand, there are a lot of other champions in the game that have received hate, but for the most part barely anyone really knows the names of the designer, so they don't receive as much hate.
AKA every Yasuo and Zed thread ever?
