Why do people insist so much on ezreal x lux?. ezreal and caitlyn come from the same city which makes more sens, ezreal never went to demacia, ezreal and caitlyn are both adc, and both somehow snipe people which means that they could have more contact.

Also, Ezreal and Lux is actually a legitimate bot lane. Lux Snare works great for Ezreal to go for aggressive poke and her shield-though not on par with a Black Shield-is still serviceable. They are also both Aryan, so of course some people will ship them just for that. Then of course some people find it cute...
Don't bash other people's ships, sometimes they have better reasoning than you think... Except Zac x Riven, that has no good reasoning.

The main reason is that it's actually canon. They are dating. I recall rioters confirming it as well after that pic was released of Ez and Lux, with them blushing, and the Howling Abyss shopkeeper talking about him and "Mrs Crownguard", and the Howling Abyss shopkeeper is Ezreal's uncle, so he'd know. XD
It's mostly because the shopkeeper at the red side of howling abyss talks to Ezreal about a "Ms Crownsguard" like he had a crush on someone. So unless Garen and Lux have either a mother alive or another sister or a cousin that nobody knows about, he's hinting at Ezreal trying to flirt with Lux.
Just taking in the evidence at hand, he might not be interested and the shopkeeper is just joking.
