Players don't care if he has escapes. They care of he does damage and doesn't die.

True... I only built EC when I played with my friend recently, and we were against a Swain. Best purchase ever (also glad that I play ADC majority of the time). Then we were against a Mundo, but Mundo wasn't really too much of a problem.

Then again, with the damage thing, if you didn't build full tank, you wouldn't be able to live long enough to get a good rotation of your spells off, or even make good use of your empowered Q healing effect (because honestly building full tank was more effective than the more AP approach, because I think people were used to him being a top laner, so the need to be tanky was a high priority).

Now, I think if Vlad is played mid (I don't know where he's played, haven't played in forever and I never see Vlad) then the whole "full AP" approach might be more effective thanks to the Q ratio buffs.

Maybe the change where E didn't pull Vlad out of his pool early made him a bit too strong... IDK, I never thought Vlad was op to begin with.

It's obviously a fluctuation of a new part of her kit that people aren't used to playing against yet. I would be flustered too if I was new to the late game quick-cooldown on her basic spells thing.

Besides, I want to play support more often, and Sona was always my go to girl.

Q auto attack has a limited lifetime, so if he is stunned his q can die. It does not cancel though.

It lasts for four seconds, no cc in the world lasts this long.

Having sub par AS makes it kinda clutch to get off though when chain CC'd

more about in lane, she has a easy skillshot on her Q, wide and long, way too much of both, and when you are playing a melee tank like shen who cant farm from a distance, shes a pain. you try to get that cannon? nope, Q. a good illaoi times it right. and even if you win lane, if she lands a good E to take ur vessel the tentacle hentai that hits you afterward hurts alot. and unless ur kalista, you cant dodge and farm. this makes tower hugging hard, because ur being slammed by tentacles while you try to clear the minions, to not get dove.

but yea out of lane, shes ez to dodge and see her ult coming, but her lane phase is too strong imo

I'm not salty, but I've seen a not-fed illaoi get blitz pulled into a 5 man, and 1v5 them into a pentakill.

She always had a good late, they just buffed the crap out of her early. This reminds of when Gnar came out and they buffed him making him strong at every stage of the game, then there were nerfs one after another.

That's his W, Harvester of Sorrow.

It's basically an AoE damage field that heals when reactivated, gives bonus XP and a negligible speed boost. It's in my opinion the worst designed ability in his kit.
