I can see that actually working, but ONLY if they play safe and don't lose their stacks immediately. SotO is actually very gold efficient on purchase and helps snowball the game if you get kills. If they're just down a bit in gold, buying it can get them the edge to get back in if they are a very smart player.
If they are feeding, it is usually just someone saying "F### it I'ma troll now".

I misread this somehow and saw "sword of the divine" and was like who built that item ANYWAY?
How to fix that: Help them get kills.
Or Here's a thought stop feeding and executing yourself like in the gif above and try to get your adc kills...dont abandon them that will just put them behind even more.
Occult is a noob trap. Not only are AD scalings usually %%%%tier in general, but their shorter range makes it easy to shut them down.
Mejai only works because AP scales better, and mages are in general much harder to shut down since they stay off the screen.
