Wouldn't you rather just go with it and keep your team happy? Whats the point of antagonizing your team before the match even begins?
Frequent premade player here. Usually go into a match planning to play a role, but call it as I would in any match. If the "random" calls it first, fair deal. We improvise.
I've no idea why this concept of fairness is so hard for so many out there.
Usually when this happens I go to my lane anyway and just mute them.

Had a game with two duo's the other day... kids fighting and yelling at each other in lobby... I filled, as did the other duo as the first duo wanted jg and top, and were 3 and 5th pick respectively... we played nice... got in game; Top fed, their jg camped us and Yi just kept saying "hug the tower" and then came to our lane to "Gank" using his Q on the minion wave, and then cleared out the rest of the minions and left... that was his sole gank during laning phase. Sometimes giving duo's "What they want" it's a slippery slope either way.
Personally when I'm in a 4 man queue with my friends we let the random get their role, and then we fill around them.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
I hate dealing with Premades. The worst experiences I've ever had in League of Legends were at the hands of premade trolls and jerks. I'm really not looking forward to Ranked allowing grouped queueing. I actually enjoyed Ranked for the lack of premades. No group of 3 or 4 players could control the entire game or dedicate the game to messing with the one teammate they didn't like.

If it's not ranked I have no sympathy for you. They're probably all in skype and have already decided 7 different ways to ruin your game. And it might not even be that, if they have the jungler don't expect to get ganks. From my experience if I'm in a premade and I roll one of you I just don't ping MIAs cause the only people that matter to me are in the call.
Now if it's ranked, I'm terribly sorry.
That reminds me:
a 4-man pre-made asked me to quit on champion selection, (perhaps they saw my match history and noticed I was on losing streak) or else they threaten trolling in game.
They all pick smite and (another useless summoner's spell), and pick some random champions.
But I proceed to pick Singed and pretend that I play top.
At the end, one of them quit the game. So I got to queue again and they had to wait for penalty.
I felt good :]
Even if I'm part of the premade my lane call is always "not jungle"
As a frequent pre-made player - from duo-queue all the way to 4-mans - I apologize for all the dumb premades out there. xD
Though most often the solo players that queue with us rarely complain since we're usually pretty chill (keyword: usually - sometimes we have some easily-tilted and otherwise trolly teammates)
Ohh I can't wait for dynamic queue where 3-4 man premades are going to tell me what lane/champion I have to play!

Even when I'm playing with friends I've usually never decided a role. I always just wing it.
As a frequent premade, Im sorry for asshats ;-; my group tries (Most of the time) to keep even the fact that were a premade completely hidden. ouo
"My duo is a good jungler, let him jungle instead." Proceeds to go 0/5 ganking his duo only. This works in Bronze.
People are spooked into listening to them because two feeders are worse than one
That's why I call "Fill" most the time.That or give my role to someone else if they don't want the left over role.........except Jungle.Fuck that role.
Isn't it great when only one of the two premade try to call a lane for both of them.
Er, when it's a Support + ADC premade you really don't want to mess with that- it's literally non-stop communication and if you can get a pair that works together you should be so happy. I swear ADC vs Support flaming is what I see most often.
For any other premade I would agree with you, but I know if I'm queued with a friend who wants to ADC with me as Support (sitting right next to one another) we're just going to work together better than some random Support being grafted onto him because "I'm not good at these others roles".
