Malicious Metal3 votesI just buy one Bionicle or Lego set every year. It has become somewhat of a tradition for me, just like collecting swords or learning at least one new recipe a month.
The newer sets actually kinda improved and started going back to their roots. Took them way too long though.
Nothing beats the classics though.

I loved them so fucking much. I remember I turned around for 5 minutes and someone mixed the pieces between my sets. I was so triggered (literally only time I've been so) that I tried to put my set back together, gave up, and proceeded to build the awesomest fucking T rex ever. Which was in turn destroyed by some kids a few weeks later.

I think a big part of why it failed while early Bionicles succeeded and enthralled so many children (myself included) was the MNOG, which, dare I say it?, is a better game to me than LoL.

DorsalChicken2 votesOh no, the flashbacks of all the broken ball joint pieces! NO WHY DO YOU REMIND ME! They would always just get that little crack along one of the little holes that held the ball in place and then that joint would be all loose.
But for real though I spent so many hours with these things, and I saw that golden mask movie so many times as a child. Mashing them together into huge mega versions was the best though.
