#The Difference Between Tanks and Juggernauts (For Dummies)

Tank: High amounts of disruption/CC and becomes more and more durable as the game drags on, but they lose most of their threatening damage as well.

Juggernaut: A bit less tanky than a Tank and less CC, but fucks you silly if you get anywhere near them, and usually scales (damage-wise) into the late game better than tanks do.

People get really riled up about the distinction among the two. While there are gameplay differences, the purpose of each is pretty similar: to tank damage for a carry.

If I were to explain classes to a person new to league I would simply move to the largest category that they could recognize as a gamer.

I wouldn't say "technically Nasus and Darius are a subclass distinct from the tank class which have champions like Rammus and Nautilus."

I would simply say Nasus is a tank as is Nautilus but they do different things for a team.
