Replace Targeted Spells With Skillshots... See What Happens
Annie's q, Katarina's q, taric's stun, for example
I think that would be.... interesting. They did it to ryze, so they could do it to any champion

There need to be some point and click abilitys. Thats okay, things like Katas Q or Gangplanks Q are completely fine whilst also having some interaction other than just dealing unavoidable damage (Kata Q bounce, Gangplank interaction with his E, Jhin Q jump from target to target, Poppy E etc.). Point and click spells are a thing that needs to be in league, you can't get away from them. Some kits would be completely destroyed through such a process. The problem is targetet CC that you get for absolutely nothing.
Taric as example is the next full relaunch out, he still has a stun but it isn't point and click anymore. In fact it isn't even a linar skillshot. Just changing something to a skillshot doesn't make anything better. If the skill is point and click and completely unfair it will just be redesigned completely (as in Tarics case). Annie is a interesting case because she really has no counterplay and just changing everything to a skillshot won't really help. The broken thing about her is that she has a "you die now" button with her ult. Also her passive is really annoying to play against. Skillshots don't always make the champion more balanced. Champions that have broken point and click spells need a complete redesign of the skills other than just saying "this is now a skillshot because why not".
Well it would work for some champs and not for others. Take Xin and Irelia for example. They both have a targeted dash, and then Irelia has her targeted E. Making those into skillshots would heavily limit their out put potential due to the ability then has a chance to miss. Then Irelia also can not have her garunteed stun for when she is being chased down (you know, the very rare times when she is not fed). So I do agree with the idea, especially for high burst low CD mages, for some champs it would not work.
They could do one better and make autoattacks skillshots
