Batman isn't for order, he is for the safety of Gotham. The joker however; is all about chaos. You got that part right.

and how does he achieve the safety of Gotham?

By going to any length to hurt and stop the people who attack Gotham, except for killing them. He doesn't do justice, he stops selfish people from hurting others. A lot of what he does is just as chaotic as the joker.

So your saying he enforces the law? So he creates order in the city.

No, he breaks most of the laws and most of the criminals bones, he is saving the innocent, not creating order.

Honestly idk what to say at this point to convince you that Batman stands for order. If stopping criminals (not murdering/ going punisher on them) isn't creating order then the police force needs to be disbanded. Apparently enforcing the law doesn't bring order and goes against the rules set by society in your eyes.

He's not enforcing the law, he's operating completely outside of the law to protect the innocent. But to be honest I'm kind of bored of this discussion.

He operates in the grey area of the law. If you cant see the cause and effect of stop criminals (no matter your reason) isn't enforcing order/law then I can't keep going either.

Yeah, I believed he operated in the gray area, if that is where the discussion ends, then I die happy.
