Silly pun aside.
In the setting given to us. The choice is to follow a genuinely good-hearted girl lead us to a better future, in exchange for some stricter rules. Or follow Edgy McEdgelord that is going to destroy everything we love, then create a world of chaos, and with the second law of thermodynamics, a world of chaos would quickly reach total entropy, and thus heat death of the universe.
Besides, there are also people like this on order.
