Just because someone is wrong does not mean that there is no way to say that without being rude or insulting. I disagree with people plenty on the boards, and somehow I can avoid saying that someone is an idiot. Another thing to mention is that if you say why someone is wrong then you can actually create a constructive discussion and actually change someones mind. I have seen you do that before, and I would appreciate it if you did it again instead of just spewing insults and cuss words.

Also, there is already a simple solution: the report function. You stop making comments that are nothing but insults and I won't report them. Deal?

There is no argument to be made here. I made a post, you failed to understand what I said. It is simple. The upvote and downvote system, along with the thread organization that is based upon it, is a circlejerk. Sheep upvoting one another's idiotic ideas gets those stupid ideas attention. Exhibit A: EVERY thread about OP champions that aren't really all that OP at all.

In response, you suggest that maybe I would get upvotes if I wasn't so mean. Thus missing the entire fucking point and ignoring the fact that I don't give a flying fuck about upvotes and downvotes. That was stupid, so I called it stupid. Get it?

If you don't like the "circlejerk", that's fine. If you disagree with something, that's fine. If you want to tell me I am wrong about something and provide reasons as to why what I said was wrong, that's fine.

If you want to swear like a sailor instead of providing constructive discussion, that's not fine. If you want to call someone an idiot because they disagreed with you, that's not fine.

If you take notice of this thread so far, I haven't insulted you or thrown swear words around like they were flowers at a wedding. I even complimented some of your actions once. What have you done? Called me stupid and whined about a problem that hasn't existed for a while. You didn't provide anything actually worth reading and several things that were worth reporting.

Basically, if you want to have any respect at all, stop insulting people/threads/the boards as a whole and go back to at least trying to be constructive. If you don't, please leave the boards and just enjoy playing the game.

So the problem isn't the "circlejerk" on subjects you might care about, but rather for when it causes something amusing and positive (at least until you get to it) to get attention. Interesting, I will try to remember that.

More seriously, people stating their opinions are not a problem. People stating their opinions in a manner that is a deliberate insult is. Throwing insults derails the discussion from the topics that they started as and turns them into insult-fests or (apparently) conversations about being reasonable people.

Have some cheerios for your care cup, they might help. Oh, and I could have stopped ages ago, but just because you can, doesn't mean you should (goes for insults as well as giving up on making people better).

I haven't said that your opinion about getting over your insults and vulgar language is bad. You can have that opinion, and I have that opinion too. However, just because I think that people should get over being insulted doesn't mean that I think people should be insulted.

I don't care what opinions you have, or whether you state them or not. Just so long as you can be a civil person about it is what matters. More or less, the majority opinion rules in society. As far as I can tell that means that on the boards you are expected to follow the rules detailed here (actually that is more than just opinion based, Riot can enforce those).

The reason I am focusing on the manner of the post here is because you could say most of what you have been saying in a way that isn't just bland cussing and repeated insults. I think you could be a useful asset to the boards because you have different opinions than most of the people, and if you learned to express that in a civil manner you might actually create discussion that changes peoples opinions.

Heck, at this point though I might even see more creative insults (or better grammar) as progress towards a better you.

It's not a diatribe, and almost all my posts are insulting. I made a single small comment, and have thereafter only replied to those who decided to reply to me. That's engaging, not going on a diatribe. If you can't tell the difference after it has been explained to you, you are too fucking stupid for me pursue any further conversation with you.
