A Series Of Tests

Listen carefully; don't read this first sentence.

Extremely disappointing. Fine, how about this. Make sure you you read this sentence right the first time.

Brain-puzzles certainly aren't your forte...hm, let us try something else. Solve the following - f(x)=4x^2+40x-300=0.

Lazy, lazy, lazy! I bet you didn't even calculate it.

Alright...QUICK! Don't look at the image below! http://cdn3-www.dogtime.com/assets/uploads/gallery/30-impossibly-cute-puppies/impossibly-cute-puppy-21.jpg

No-one can resist the urge to gaze upon a glorious puppy. But that doesn't justify the the last tests you failed.

Clearly, you have poor eye-sight. Re-read the last sentence. But, you haven't asked the most important question. What was the point of all these idiotic tests? Simple. The first letter of each line above.

"Classing misdirection."

Two "you"s in the second test.

f(x) = 0 when x = 5, and x = -15

I looked at the puppy. Fight me.

Two "the"s in the sixth test.

I've got my eye on you.
