I agree. As of right now he's got the targeted CC to deal with the popular mobile assassins, the free passive armor for himself and teammates to deal with the double ADC comps, and armor shred and mixed damage for the popular tank tops.

He's flexible enough to viably play top lane, support, and even jungle.

If Taric had THIS kind of rework making almost like a Gem Berserker then I would LOVE to play him. But I really cant wait until he has a rework the poor guy needs it. Same goes for Warwick, Yorick and Nunu.

Have you played nunu recently? I mean, he's not a jungler anymore but he is great mid/top/supp you just go cdr ap and focus on squishies.

I can't say he doesn't need a rework. But I love getting Taric in aram and ignore poke champs with a single self case Q after one or two items. Hell a TahmKench tried to 1v1 me when must of our teams was dead and his DrMundo was coming to back him up. Didn't end well for him, but the mundo killed me after he went down (nerf mundo lol). I hope they don't update him into a Shen ... I don't want his potential power and utility hampered by some gimmick mini game, just for the sake of having one. I actual feel like that taric in that gif/video when I get closer to full build in aram and people don't build enough penetration or grievous wounds to deal with him early on.

My friends and I lost an ARAM game laughing hysterically after I oneshot a tristana as full armor taric. And by oneshot I mean i chain-stunned her and chased her with snowball until she died.

I have this weird feeling that taric is gonna have gems that sprout randomly out of the ground in some places of the map, that give him a huge boost when he's near them. I'm thinking 2% max/missing mana per second, 45% attack speed, and some insane move speed boost. They'll probably be placed at red buff, blue buff, dragon, and baron.

On a serious note, I was originally going to say they sprout up like Illaoi's tentacles and give him bonus armor, or he can shatter them for a bust of damage and a small AP boost. But then I did indeed turn it into a joke about Skarner's passive.

i feel like tarics base damange and ratios are insane and hes actually a strong champion but just like yorick and galio free stats dont outway the boring gameplay and thats why no one plays him is cause he is so damn boring

His ratios aren't that great to me. Why I like him is when people underestimate how much sustained dps and self heals he can bring to a fight. His current passive and low cd on all abilities makes him hard to 1v1 (unless your Vayne or Fiora ) when he has enough items or you don't have high enough dps or sustain to out last him, which can be pretty hard when his Q could heal him every 4 seconds or so due to his 2 second cdr passive for 500+ hp. But your right, he is boring and pretty straight foward to play. But then again, you can almost say the same thing about DrMundo , even though there are major difference between them, the one that really stands out in Taric kits is his point and click stun. Imagine if mundo's Q was a point and click slow.

yeah i think mundo needs a rework too current health damage/ high base damage and that slow i think riot needs to give him a mini game like all the other champions :P

Taric's kind of...meh right now.

He has his niche and is a good choice against full AD team comps or if you need/want that 100% reliable stun to lock people down, but he could be better. Not to mention his models are horrendous and needed an update 3 years ago.

I look forward to Riot's update of Taric. I know they'll preserve his basics and make him more interesting like they did with Shen.

And hopefully much more outrageous. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I had to deal with the horror of Top Lane Taric while I was playing volibear one game... He would literally stun me every 3 seconds. Walk up to me, proc IBG's passive, shatter, and walk away. There was literally nothing I could do. If i tried to run after him he'd just stun me again and do the same thing. He went full Armor that game....

I'll have some trouble getting over Taric's update (death). He's pretty much the only tank support I liked since they nerfed (killed) Leona. Soraka was also pretty hard to get over, I still grieve for her from time to time.

Alas, I reached mastery lvl 5 a month or so ago and was dubbed "the gem god" by a teammate so I think I'm prepared to give up playing him. ^the sad story of a support main.
