Won't lie: living by 5 hp is always lucky. You literally brushed up against death and he didn't care to notice. That's lucky, whether by your skill or someone else's.

Well, not exactly. You just didn't deal enough damage to them to kill them. Not exactly luck since it was going to happen from the beginning.

The distance between you and the enemy gives them time to regen health if you don't kill them point blank range. Flashing from a flying point and click projectile like Sona's Q can easily give more than 5 HP. It's luck because something like that is pretty much impossible to calculate when it happens.

Worse than that is when the whole team does bad early game, you somehow manage to be the one that brings your team back around why winning a few key fights or alting or whatever, then you make a mistake and the team starts to QQ about how you "threw" the game lol. The whole while you just sit there going, "Threw the game? No, I'm why we didn't lose 15 minutes ago"

Also sometimes it's just that you weren't as good as your opponent. Just because somebody in Gold is able to beat me in lane doesn't change the fact that I'm still better than most people in Silver and Bronze. So "bad" is often just a matter of "worse".

Well, you cant exactly call someone bad in game because they have the same mmr as you but when i play with a bronze thresh...sometimes its hard because they cannot land a single freaking hook and they flay people to safety..it kills me.
